These are old, unsupported versions of the Alicebot and AIML technologies. They are still available for download, but the authors no longer support them and you may have difficulty finding assistance with problems on the mailing lists. Nonetheless, perhaps by peering through the source code you'll find a gem of inspiration! |

WinAlice is a Windows GUI version of Alice. It can also be used as a "personal secretary"--if you ask it to remember an appointment for you, it will remind you in time. It is not being actively supported at the moment. Jacco says that "the current version of WinAlice is, albeit buggy, 'final'."

Truly ancient history, this is the little kernel that started it all (almost). Actually, this is the Java reimplementation of the original A.L.I.C.E., which was written in SETL and is described in the original A.L.I.C.E. documentation. (alternate location).
